Family in town so was kind enough to trek over to Rockefeller center for the Christmas scene today. Insane crowds(had to be like half a million on the streets there sightseeing).

Legit 70% were hispanic/central american, 10% ****** 10% asians.

I was looking out over the massive crowd(as someone 6 foot 3 I could see over everyone as most were sub 5 foot 8), legit 90% had deep jet black hair. Just wild to me.

Honeslty most nyc tourists these days are from poor countries and Fat/short. The fit thin people I see are all Americans (srs). Almost zero European tourists these days here in the city feels like.

I am at the point now where I think Americans are the thins ones these days with decent fashion....the immigrants are the fatties (no Johnnydeep)

My town is like 95% upper middle class professionals so was shocking to see Manhattan be such a step-down (when it's so much more expensive to live there). It's like Manhattan became a place for poors to cosplay on Mexican tiktok or something...just wild to me

Just the simple congestion while driving is due to many delivery drivers whatever. I'm not sure but its wild how every 5rd car is full of poor immigrants. Not Asian or Indians who mostly drive nice cars and keep to themselves.

weirdly enough, a direct consequence of this all is housing is through the roof. how is that? because in any area thats still american majority (and majority white), other americans fight tooth and nail to move there (as they are tired of indians and south americans), and thus the community's prices skyrocket.

people are willing to pay a HUGE premium to live around other americans with family lines going back generations in this country. NYC area look at whats happening to prices in any white bread and butter town. I would go to open houses in places like Chatham/Madison NJ garden city ny or New canaan CT and there would be hundreds of normal looking well dressed whites lined up around the block looking to flee there and throwing huge sums of cash to get into the community.

You are in finance, so you should know as well as anyone the unstoppable forces ushering in millions of peasant migrants every year.
