There's nothing more annoying than this modern day "inspiration talk" everyones doing

Its entered into he vernacular of most of young America. I hear it all the time. You boys know what I'm talking about? Everyone wants to be an inspiration. Inspirational. They want to be motivational. They jump at every opportunity to talk about how they overcame some great struggle and persevered through the dark tunnels of hopelessness. I hate it. And the preachiness that goes with it. Listen to how people talk now. Its so contrived & fake. Just regurgitating terminology they read on ******** and in feel-good news stories. For some reason it really gets my scrote in a knot, fellas.

And I absolutely despise when folks posture on mental health. Drives me crazy. Its been the fad for awhile now. Often, the two go hand-in-hand. Folks will claim some level of victimhood resulting in depression and/or anxiety, then talk about how they rose up through the struggle like a phoenix from the ashes, and they'll do so in the most narcissistic, ego-stroking manner possible. Just to place themselves above you. So you'll know that they're a superior human being. I mean, come on now. These people. I swear. One day I'm going to run out into the forest and never look back. What a glorious day that'll be.

It's just a manifestation of the infantilization that leftists promote as part of their agenda to "lift female voices". Women are becoming less and less likely to procreate, and that "mother" needs to manifest itself in some way... that's why everything nowadays is tinted with this "encouraging" voice that sound whack to normal people, because it's misplaced. If society went back to more traditional values, women would know how to be women in a more productive frame, and then men would consequently become more masculine and have a more realistic view on life.

Les Brown is my favorite motivational speaker, I saw him in person for sales training and I’m listening to his book now.

Tony Robbins can be over the top.

I think positivity is nearly always better than negativity. If it's delusional, it's a potential problem. But the truth is it's always possible to put a positive spin on a negative experience (it's just a matter of perspective) and viewing something from a positive perspective will always yield better results than a negative one.

Yes, motivational speakers are quite annoying. Equally annoying are the commentary videos everyone does of another video..or "reaction" videos. I just want to see the original video..I do not need your retarded commentary and reaction to it breaking in every 5 seconds.

I'm not talking about viewing things in a positive light, partner. I don't disagree with that. I'm referring to folks who strive to be viewed as inspirational despite doing very little in life to inspire anyone to a significant extent. They love to advertise how they shattered the ceiling of adversity, and can't stop themselves from self-righteously preaching their all-knowing world view. And they'll do so with little provocation. Its everywhere now. You should know exactly what I'm talking about.

I'm not even talking about "clickbait," Dusty. I'm talking about the typical, average person in 2023 and their undying desire to been seen as an inspirational figure. And how it annoys me to no end.

I do. But you're not taking into consideration that there are different levels in life. What seems lackluster and insignificant to you may be inspirational to someone else. 99% of society is borderline retarded. I'm so bemused by society that I'm 100% sure we are living in a simulation. People are super weird and stupid. Don't overthink it. Just ride the wave, brah.

Hmmmm I don’t seem to run into average folks like that. Maybe we just run in different circles and/or the areas where we live.

Mad at others who learned to ride waves and inspire others to ride with them.

Autistic weirdo with custom-made Furry avatar ordered off Fiverr posts a stolen meme.

"You dropped this, king." (Crown emoji)

Girl makes video pointing up at captions about overcoming trauma and nodding sullenly while wearing skimpy outfit. She then looks off camera and then back to the camera.

"Slayyyyy, queen! Ate and left no crumbs!" (Lipstick application emoji)

Yea, people are retarded.

I’m sick of everyone being so goddamn enamored with their humdrum, mundane little stupid life.

It’s not a journey, you’re just stumbling around in the dark in circles

Agreed duckbrah. And also the overdramatization of something of little more than a trivial event.

motivational speakers whove made it are spending their money too quickly

those who havent try to make it their success.

the former is a scam. the latter a waste of time.
