Another interpretation could be that governments don't care much about individual citizens. It's possible the balance sheet suggests letting it rip at this point will be less costly than continuing mass vaccinations. Although the results on individuals may not be optimal.

I think it's a short-sighted approach.

I'm glad I have access to healthcare.
You suggested it was due to monetary reasons. If that’s the case, then the amount of money spent on is not worth it. Which means they don’t adequately prevent future problems to an extent that would justify recommending them. This means tons of people who get them still get Covid severely enough to rack up medical expenses and also spread it to others. Even if the govt. doesn’t care about citizens, the govt. still covers their medical expenses and would care whether or not the injections saved them money.

And lmao at you saying that’s a narrative Berenson pushes when you’re the one who suggested it’s a monetary decision.

I laid out my view above. You quoted it.

Berenson, and by proxy you, leave out important details in order to serve the narrative that covid is nothing and vaccines are bad.

Lmao at you being so shook by Berenson that you hallucinate and see him everywhere.

I quoted your view and simply pointed out that if it’s accurate it means the injections are a poor investment. And this is in countries that pay for all medical expenses of citizens. It appears the injections don’t reduce medical spending for the vast majority of people. If they did, then countries wouldn’t stop recommending them for monetary reasons. That means they aren’t effective. Pretty simple to understand.

I don't see him everywhere. You literally copy and paste from his substack without any critical review of his claims.

My position is that governments are willing to sacrifice the health of individuals for political reasons.

You don't know anything about me other than what I've told you. The rest is 100% fiction born from the mentally deranged minds of you Trumpers.

Red states were shown the road map on how to handle the pandemic and case spikes etc. Those states that ignored that blueprint needlessly killed thousands of their residents.. all because of fake news and politics.

Oh and Dave.. you're in your mid-forties. Medications are there to help when needed. They are not some sort of sign of weakness... just lol at this boomer mentality in 2024.

That’s not what you said. You said differences in funding models could explain the difference in approach.

You also said:
Difference in science? Not at all

Some countries have universal insurance and vaccines are expensive.
You clearly said it was a financial reason, and now after realizing what that implies you’re backtracking and saying it’s political.

Maybe it's different there, but here healthcare spending is governmental and our government consists of politicians who campaign on these kinds of issues.

If the injections provide a good return on investment, why would it a bad political move to recommend them?

Also, again, you’re just weaseling out of your earlier statement that had nothing to do with political motives and everything to do with cost.

I recognise your right to misinterpret what I said, but that doesn't change my position nor how I presented my position.

Do to the immunity in most populations, either from navigation or infection, there will likely be less severe and critical infections. That doesn't mean none and doesn't mean anyone who doesn't have a severe infection will be fine.

My position is that governments don't care about individuals. It would seem many governments have decided multiple infections per year are okay and it's cheaper than mass vaccination.

Politicians are generally concerned with budgets.

I think that is short-sighted.

Some seem to take changes in eligibility as "evidence" that vaccines are bad and covid is NBD. I disagree in part because those who purport these changes to be"evidence" leave out, ignore, or misconstrue facts.

The shots are still available.

I'm glad I have access to healthcare and preventive options.

You’re recycling the old anti vax appeal to ignorance fallacy. There is absolutely no scientific justification for believing that we need to wait “well over a decade” to understand health effects.

There is no universally defined wait time for vaccine safety approval. C19 vaccines were expedited in part because researchers rapidly accumulated the data needed for statistical power. This typically takes much longer for other vaccines. I know of no vaccine in history where serious side effects began manifesting more than three months out.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10511135/

The results showed that the highest total cost of hospitalization in intensive care per patient was 100789 USD, which was reported in Germany

The cost of a covid vaccine is about $130.

So despite how cheap the injections are, and how costly it can be for all of the various treatments given for covid, it is still cheaper to not recommend them for the vast majority of people. This is for a few reasons:

1.) the injections don’t prevent spread in any meaningful way

2.) the amount of time they provide significant protection is very limited, and many people who receive them still contract Covid and deal with the effects of it

3.) people under 55 are not at a risk from Covid that warrants recommending the injections

4.) there is a substantial risk of harmful side effects from the injections

Again, even if the governments didn’t/don’t care about the population they would go the route that saves them money. The injections don’t do that for most people for the reasons I listed above.

Germany had to throw away a bunch of vaccines because its public is retarded.

https://www.politico.eu/article/germ...vaccine-doses/

That's why.

And people under 55 can still get covid and die from it. They are at reduced risk. That doesn't mean no risk. Also, they still benefit from a vaccine.

I want to stress the distinction between vaccination and boosting also. The debate over whether everyone needs a booster is distinct from the debate over vaccination in general. People like jtaylor act like vaccination itself is recommended against. At no point has any credible scientist recommended against vaccinating against covid 19 across any fuking age group.

i picked a random link from India just to read what they were saying and here is the takeaway.

The impact of JN.1 on pneumonia underscores the importance o ..

"Among these variants is JN.1, a strain that has raised alarm .. higher risk of pneumonia

"Pneumonia is an infection that inflames the air sacs in one or both lungs. The air sacs may fill with fluid or pus (purulent material), causing cough with phlegm or pus, fever, chills, and difficulty breathing. A variety of organisms, including bacteria, viruses and fungi, can cause pneumonia.

Try reading what I wrote.

With the level of immunity from vaccinations and infections, the rate of hospitalizations during races will likely be lower.

I don't subscribe to the position that if you don't die, you're fine. Or that repeated infections are fine. My position is that that is short-sighted.

Blatant obvious attempt to cover their own tracks. The injection culling is going swimmingly for them. Just as well as their bioengineered virus.

Next thing they'll do is capitalize by treating all the heart issues and turbo cancers their dirty injections cause with new dirty injections.

They aren't just committing genocide of the world population, they're fleecing people for every last dime while they do it.

Ok, shill. Just so you know, historically, the people who enable and facilitate communist takeover and genocide are known as "Useful Idiots." This group is oftentimes among the first purged when the takeover is complete.
This rings true, already, with a lot of vocal vaccine supporters "dying suddenly" in their 30s. Most recent example is this journalist who advocated for putting the unvaccinated "into camps" dying in his early 30s.

What is hilarious is "useful idiot" was actually a term invented by the CIA and attributed to communists to mock communist sympathizers and play upon their nationalism. In fact, the useful idiots are the idiots like you sucking the dicks of billionaires and fighting tooth and nail to prevent yourselves from getting education, healthcare, etc.

You're being less than useless avoiding vaccinating yourself against disease, a process known to work for over 200 fuking years now.

Be interesting to see if this holds. Certainly possible that new variants evolve increased virulence.
