It takes effort to actual maintain a relationship. For example I've been seeing a girl for 5 months.. some weekends she will come over and spend the entire weekend with me which means no rotting , no gaming , no sleeping in , etc etc . Got to entertain her and cook etc

That being said , I'd rather spend my weekend with her than rot.

It's not this fairy tale you made it out to be in your mind...but the effort is totally worth creating a good bond with the right girl .

I say this all the time. The reality of dating/relationships is completely different than the fantasy you think it is. Chicks are just normal people, not some divine beings that will solve all your problems

I think what happened is that the past year of rotting with no work and no goals altered your mentality to the point where you're no longer motivated to do much of anything else. That's why it's important not to get stuck in that rabbit hole to begin with.

However, if you're actually happy this way, so be it. As others have said, hopefully, you will check yourself the next time you feel like clicking the new thread option.

Humans tend to overvalue whatever it is we lack. If we're broke, we think money is the most important thing. If we're virgins, we think its women etc etc. Just how we are.

This part kills me to this day, I just didnt have the experience to handle it. It was fine at first cause I was in such disbelief it was even happening that I didnt take it seriously but after it went on for awhile she had me down bad and I didnt want to get hurt so I sabotaged. It was really bad lookin back. Nothing but regrets.

Covid did that. Even now I have a hard time getting up off the couch, like now, as I'm exhausted from going to the gym last night.

You just get into this mentality of rotting and too tired to do anything. It doesn't take much energy to type on here.

I'm involcel because I can't change what I want. We dont control our own desires, we want what we want and like what we like for reasons we cant control.
