In the past do you feel you had better luck Interviewing with

A male or female manager for the job or do you believe it never played a role?

I have always been able to tell.within the fire 10 seconds if there was a decent report with the interviewer. Some just give an awkward feel and you can tell right off the bat you are behind the 8 ball.

In my experience unless it is one of those roles where you get 3 different interviews over a short period. If you are not hired on the spot during the interview you generally do not get the job.

That never seemed to matter at all for me. What did matter was knowing people who already worked at places who the hiring manager already liked, so it gave me a big leg up. It's way harder without a direct connection.

ngl probably had better luck w/females

last one i did, was a 4-person board, well the lead interviewer (guy) asked if i were a buckeyes fan and i said yea and that i "hoped there were no wolverine fans in the room." well he was like "we actually have one in here so the lone female raised her hand like it was her was so i was like "excuse me ma'am can you please leave we're doing an interview rn" and shewed my hand away as if to get her to leave & everyone got a good laugh out of it.

didnt get selected but it opened my eyes to what can be gained by not being some beta pushover and instead acting you run that place even though youre just an applicant. gonna keep up the d*ckhead persona in every interview from here on out srs

Probably my worst one was some Korean faygot. Some HR type dork, for some low level temp job paying chit in San Diego, and he interviewed like it was for some super high level job with a bunch of BS questions like he was psychoanalyzing me.

Fuk, I do NOT miss those days.

Anyway, back to OP, I don't know. I'm pretty sure I probably landed more jobs/job offers from female interviewers than male ones though.

Probably about 50/50.

Women are generally easier to BS, so I'll go with women. But never saw a big difference.
