Then don't do a fast. Just eat clean brah. Slow and steady is the key to weight loss

WHAT. lol hell no, dude. fasting longer than 48 hours has been shown to drop your test levels by a serious amount (>90%)

I'd do a fasting day maybe once a week -- just one day. Balance in everything is key, etc.

I agree balance is key but extended waterfasts are good for auto****y, curing illnesses, joint pain, killing cancer cells, alzheimers, etc

there are countless benefits to extended fasts, as long as they're done in a healthy manner (electrolyte supplementing could be beneficial, adequate water)

there is no specific diet needed. A good place to start is calories tracker, some online daily calorific expenditure calculator. From there you calc calories from every dish you eat. After a while you will know by heart there are 20g carbs in a slice of bread, or 3g of fat in egg yoke.
Your daily intake should be a calorific deficit of about 300-500 calories.

Keep in mind, cravings are quenched with two glasses of water, not a cookie.

I like to buy meat in bulk when I diet. Find sales where you can buy pounds of chicken or lean burger and freeze it. Tilapia fish is another cheap protein you can buy in bulk. Helps if you hunt or have access to wild game but realize not everybody does... Sweet potatoes are good on a cut and pretty reasonable. Eat a bunch of fruit and veggies to fill up your stomach. Cottage cheese or low fat Greek yogurt is another good cutting food.

Counting calories is exhausting bro lol

What happens if you accidentally do a 1000 calorie deficit

Just use a clear liquid diet for a couple days.

Broths and stuff like that

Kinda sucks but it does help sorta reset the gut. Did it a bunch before I had part of my colon removed

This would be a good way to do it if you've never done a fast before. No more than a couple days.

Good luck!

I've did it for almost a week one time only water but it's not easy, especially if you haven't done it in a while

i barely did 16 hours the other day, need to ease into it probably this time around. and thanks!

go to keto for a week first so you get into ketosis then shift to water fast.

dont just down a pizza and try to water fast the next day for half a week. its too much. get used to no sugar/carbs first.
