My mental strength comes from dealing with adversity. The problem is, the more adversity I overcome, the less empathetic person I become.

On the tougher side of the bell curve but not a psycho. I’ve done and accomplished enough things both professionally and personally to not be a huge pussy or quitter

Hard to gauge. I'd say it's average, strong in some areas, weaker in others. Survived some tough days at work and done things that the average person is scared to do, but I know first hand that there are levels to this sht, and there are people out there that are mentally tough beyond comprehension.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Hit the point nothing phases me anymore, which TBH is probably not a good thing.

I could lose every possession i have and feel a bit liberated for a while before believing i could be back to where i was before. When you came from nothing and seen it done first hand you're not scared to go back.
