Do you find the modern miscer is just unusually angry and unhinged?

Something about the modern miscer these days. Miscers are less cool, actually lifting, good looking life affirming brahs and now just seem like really weird, hateful, perpetually angry sociopaths.


Real men and normal people can have a conversation with different opinions and ideas expressed and it's still a pleasant exchange. Simply say "I actually disagree there..." and make a counter-argument.


But miscers these days literally cannot live with anyone disagreeing with them or offering some counterargument. The slightest challenge to anything they believe and they just melt down and start squealing like angry babies. There's nothing resembling intelligence here and any different idea is just met with angry hand mashing and insults, not an intelligent argument.

Then, they neg you continuously just for having the gall to express a different idea.....once. Just this seething and incessant hatred which borders on mental illness. It's extremely toxic and disturbing.


What's going on here? What happened to the miscer? What made them so angry and anti-social, and why can't they have an actual conversation about anything?

I find like every setting I am in, the misc reflects what I am fostering inside.


If I came to the conclusion you have, I would absolutely take some time to contemplate my current mental status. I know when I want to fight, I can come to the misc to find it. Anytime. If I want deep productive conversation, here it is. It always depends on my mood.

I'd say the 2010-2015 miscer was generally angry. I mean for the most part, we STILL were chill and still knew how to have a laugh and have fun.

When Trump took over and post 2016 I'd say miscers became more unhinged. They became more political, everything turned to black vs white, everything turned to left v right. More and more incels and 4channers started infiltrating the ranks and everything turned from playful fun to more malicious and hateful.


Everything is politicized nowadays. Misc is a former shell of its former glory.

The problem is you're focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the few brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck.

Op is much easier to spot the mentally ill and those with no scruples on here thwn it is in everyday life.. their constant threads. And post that do nothing but insult and try and start trouble is a fair sign of what they are probably like in real life and if by chance a very slim chance they are not mentally disturbed. They have only them selves to blame for others viewing them that way.

You are perceived by how you present yourself.. so either they are retarded rejects and misfits in society or they act that way on purpose thinking it's funny. Either way that makes them fuked in the head.

Lots of people here are just regular folks who work hard, are fulfilled in life, and are just here to shoot the schit, talk lifting, unwind, and for the lulz. It's just a small minority of miscers who are really angry, miserable, bitter, jaded, and miserable in life who externalize their hatred here. And because of what's known as the tyranny of the minority, it's that small subset of folks who screech loudest and make it seem as though most miscers are that way.

Ironically, many of these miserable folks don't lift. Maybe that would be a good catalyst for them.

These people are never going to ruin the misc for the rest of us

I posted here the most between 2013-2016 between 19-22 years old. I was a self-confessed ForeverAlone LDAR angry miscer. My post/rep ratio was poverty and I would get mod-nagged every other day bc of my low quality posting lol.

I've come back to misc 7 years later at 29 and I can still see the same pattern of posting. Except this time, I'd like to think I am now part of the other side of the spectrum as I see the Self-hate, trollish and anger filled posts and can't relate as much anymore. The only advice I can give to these miscers as I would also wish to tell my younger self - get off the misc, go to the GYM and push yourself outside of your comfort zones. Life is really too short to let your mind fester on such negative ideologies and thoughts.

Good post srs. That was my assessment of the angry bitter people here. Life just didn't pan out the way they'd hoped for a multitude of reasons. For yourself, imagine if you had gone down that path you described back then and what your current posting would look like here.

I kind of agree with this summation even though I'm not a prolific poster/thread starter.
For the reasons above I choose my thread contributions very carefullybased on the topic and my assessment of the original poster.
Personally, I don't involve myself in internet drama, angst and name calling.
It seems much of that dialogue comes from a ton of alt accounts here which doesn't bother me, I just ignore and move on.

Admittedly, I still check in here pretty much every day looking for cool topics and respectful banter.
Occasionally, I'm actually successful.

But, I've been wrong in the past.
