Were my actions out of line?
I don't normally post on the misc.
I've got a reserved parking space at a place of work that I don't work at any longer. I still do work there, but it's not related to my previous employer. So there is still a reserved space for me.
Someone parked in my space. That person works at that place of my previous employment. I used my printer and some adhesive Avery mailing labels and put 2 labels on the vehicle. One on the windshield and one on the driver side window.
"RESERVED PARKING IS NOT RESERVED FOR YOU" is what it said.
They couldn't get a paper label off the glass. They called the police. The police showed up and said to them it was private property and you parked in a reserved parking space. Then the police left.
I know that I'm an A-hole, but how much of an A-hole am I on a scale of 1-10 for the above actions? It happened 6 weeks ago and I just heard about it today. Apparently the illegal parker is spreading the story.
My vote is a 7.

Ehhhh I definitely wouldn't do what you did.
I'd say 7-8.
We all make mistakes, especially me, so all you can do is learn from it and focus on the present. Otherwise you'll just beat yourself up.

At least you are not so.much an azz hole to where you can't realize you were in the wrong.
Which we all have been at one time or another.
Chalk it up as hopefully a growing experience

Your actions were childlike and completely inappropriate. Your reputation is shot, I would start polishing up your resume. I hope you aren't in charge of anything important.
Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

You trolling Paul? Srs
I don't know about Kansas, but around here if you're pissed just leave a note under their windshield wiper letting them know what they did wrong. If they do it again then you escalate. You don't just go straight to printing weird stickers to place on their car.

You can defend your actions all you want, but you were out of line. You asked for the truth and you got it.
