Its cold in Buffalo in winter? When did this start?

it was the governors decision?

HEre's the thought process of some liberal new york governor:

"these dumb hicks won't listen to us about climate change, so we will take their football away due to weather to get attention"

yes climate change now refers to: winter snow and summer humidity
is it cold out and ice falling from the sky? climate change
when you go outside, do you feel like drinking water or begin to sweat? climate change

Didn't they get like 2 feet of snow? I'm thinking it's more about safety of the fans, people traveling, traffic, etc...probably want to get things cleaned up and not have a bunch of people out on the road...

Decided by a Democrat?

Ok then we all know it wasn't actually her decision, but rather some background financial interests

They have never let this stop them. Not even close to the worst weather they've held buffalo games during.

It's the new helicopter patenting style government. Now when it snows like 2 inches they cancel school here...20 years ago it was unheard of to do it

Yeah 2" is nothing but 2 feet is a lot to clean up. When you got everyone out on the road, it's harder to clean up, takes more time, cost more money, etc...

I don't know.

The problem is the stadium itself. The bowl when the wind blows gets not only two feet of snow, but more like 4-5 on the seats and in the aisles, which are impossible to shovel out quickly. You can clear parking lots and roads no problem, but the people can't sit anywhere. I've been to games where you're sitting on a pile of snow before and it's -20.

They only postponed it one day, it's really just to give them more time to clean it up.

This is good. No one wants to watch a 0-3 rugby game on ice.

Also, this was more the decision to allocate first responders' time to actual emergencies rather than tending to some obese drunk whales fighting in the parking lot.

They've had games in literal blizzards before. I can remember a game or two where they've had trouble keeping the yard lines and numbers free from snow.

Yes, but it wasn't possibly three feet dropping AHEAD of the game. It's a one day delay, it really isn't a big deal.

Plus, everything else is going to be a disaster travel wise if that lake effect takes hold. Not many people here have ever experienced three feet of snow. We just got almost a foot in my city last night but we're used to it.

Games have never been played in literal blizzards you dumb f*ckers. There's a chance the QB won't even be able to see the receivers downfield and the receivers won't see the football coming toward them.

Yeah just go play football blind retards. Misc IQ drops by the day with threads like these.

P.S. They've had to do this before, granted it was regular season so they opted to move the game location. For the playoffs they're trying to keep it in Buffalo obviously.

It's like none of you have ever watched sports. By the way....

2010 - Vikings vs Giants: Due to a snow storm in Minnesota and damage to the Metrodome, the game was played in Detroit. Due to the same situation, the Vikings had to move their game against the Bears to the University of Minnesota campus.
2010 - Vikings vs Eagles: The Sunday Night Football game was postponed to Tuesday because of a snowstorm in Philadelphia.
2014 - Jets vs Bills: The Nov. 23 game had to be be moved to Detroit and was played on Nov. 24 also due to a snowstorm in Buffalo.
2022 - Browns vs Buffalo: The Nov. 20 game was moved to Ford Field in Detroit due to a severe winter storm in Buffalo.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
