🎖️ NCIS - The Most Favorite TV Show of Mine ⚓️

Alas, I have never heard anyone mention the show in this forum.

A bit sad.

Aye, they've just released a new version of this show: NCIS Sydney, set in Sydney Australia. Didn't see that coming.

I've never watched the show even though I'm a big fan of police procedurals. I've always been a Law and Order and Criminal Minds guy, and I've been binging on the Chicago series too.

Is NCIS worth it?
Back off, Warchild.

This it was a great show but went down hill with the loss of Ziva. Once Tony left, there has been a rapid deterioration of the show.

I was 6 - 11 when the spy series he was playing the role as the mysterious Russian agent Illya Kuryakin, a sex symbol with his Beatle-style blond haircut. (the show was aired in 1965 - 1970 here in Japan) and I miss him and the era.

It was David McCallum's wish...

"Because his actor David McCallum wanted to spend more time with his family, and was very old. Around season sixteen episode 'Bears and Cubs', Ducky retires as NCIS' chief medical examiner."

Without Ducky, Gibbs became the oldest man in the main cast and aged very quickly in my eyes.

The show killed off another potentially good character, Macy(Louise Lombard) who was not picked up as a regular in the NCIS LA.

In the last scene of the crossover episode "Legends", the understanding between the two, Macy and Gibbs, was one of the most heartfelt scenes of the show.

...Gibbs nods to a surveillance camera, believing that Macy watches......Gibbs nods to a surveillance camera, believing that Macy watches...

Spoiler!
Gibbs has had an 18-year grudge against Mace because she investigated him for the murder of the man responsible for murdering his wife and daughter. But Gibbs has walked free for 18 years despite being guilty, so either Mace failed to find evidence, or found evidence and buried it.

JAG did it right to the end though.
