Clown World: My girlfriend got denied for Foodstamps...again

Long story short, Maui fire happened, she collects unemployment. She claims single mother with 2 kids getting $650 a week. She gets denied Foodstamps wtf. I've never stopped working but no reason you deny supposed single mother foodstamps for making $650 a week in the most expensive state in the US. Something is wrong on this world.

I'm guessing your girlfriend's unemployment money exceeds the income eligibility limit or perhaps she is getting additional government assistance that precludes her from getting food stamps. Either that or maybe she has drug convictions or parole violation that also prevents her from getting food stamps.

Buy them from someone who gets benefits. When I was younger that was a hustle srs. I’ve never been on any form of public assistance personally, but when I was broke I would buy food stamps from my friend for 50¢ on the dollar, which was the going rate a decade ago. In other words, hand someone on stamps a $50 bill and you get $100 worth of food. Win/win.

Maybe with inflation welfarecels are charging more these days, it’s worth a try tho.
