yeah, its pretty phucked up. Some of these guys were criminals but these are people that were listed as "missing persons" and the cops pretended not to know where that person was.

Not to mention, they had the inmates in the prison digging the graves, so if they can interview some of those guys they'll eventually get someone to talk

So in the first paragraph is says the bodies were buried in unmarked graves and nearly the next sentence is says they were buried in graves marked with a metal pole and a number. I stopped reading there. This piece sounds like it's gunning for an emotional response rather than a rational one.

Thats what an unmarked grave is. Its a grave without the deceased name on it.

Dude, how do you know that? Maybe they were privy to some crooked evil chit going on inside the prison.

In some prison and JAILS some people have their own little criminal enterprise set up.. being a POS criminal is bad enough but when you do it under the guise of a badge and uniform it makes it twice As bad. Feds lick their chops to go after scum bags like that. Provides them real motivation to keep going each day.

Yeah, the comforting assumption would be to assume that every single body (and there are over 600 (six-HUNDRED) of them) were all rapists and PDF Files, but thats probably not the case. The buried people may have started as bad guys, but i'm sure at some point they started burying people back there who simply "knew too much."

Genuinely not being confrontational but then wouldn't Arlington under that definition be "unmarked"? They're literally using grave markers in Arlington which is essentially what the metal numbered pole is.

I always thought an unmarked grave was typically a dumping ground for mass casualties all buried in a single, large plot.

I. Believe the concern is no documentation. Soldiers in unmarked graves could not be identified. Anyone in a jail or prison has documentation attached to them. On hand and on servers. Those people just disappeared. at least from what I watched.
