Have you ever had a roommate, for college or another time? If so, have you had a bad roommate, and what made them so terrible?


I lived in a boarding house when I was in undergrad because the rent was so friggin cheap, like 80 dollars a week for a small room and a communal kitchen. I didn't know at the time but it was also functioning as kind of a halfway house, where people recently released from prison, weirdos and other low income earners could rent a room as well.

There was a crazy dero woman in there who stole people's food, and got high/drunk at night and screamed and bashed on the walls. Frequently found passed out on the couch in the communal room. Another girl who always went out partying, came home one night and spewed in the hallway. There was even some vomit which had partially seeped into my room under the door.

Another total weirdo lived there.Was heavily into conspiracies, UFOs, giants, NWO etc. He had his door open one time, he was sitting at his comp, and I noticed a hole in the wall around groin height and two teacup handles glued onto the wall at around chest height and spaced a shoulder width apart. WTF LOL, didn't want to think about what he was upto there.

Another tenant was a fat and lazy loser who didn't work. Just collected welfare and watched TV all day. He flooded the bathroom when he showered and had some sort of skin disease- he left a trail of skin flakes from the bathroom to his bedroom and you could see where he had been.


I've also lived with roommates at the other end of the spectrum. I moved into a really nice place in a different city but the guy there was an OCD dickchit about everything. Would freak out if he even saw a smudge or a plate left out or something, and always send a passive aggressive text message with a photo attached. One time he even sent one because a chair was left slightly at an angle at the table. LOL.

I had a bunch of roommates in my younger years, and the vast majority were really cool. The two that kind of sucked -

One really weird dork in College dorms one semester. After like a day or two, and us barely having been around each other or communicated, he just decided he REALLY "didn't like me" for some unknown reason. Went to the RA and requested to be moved. Had to have a sit down with them and discuss it - was just thinking "wtf?" the whole time. Dude acted like I raped him or something. The rare occasion I saw him around after that he would always act weird as chit. Later he got a mohawk and started wearing an army Jacket like Travis Bickle. Weird fuking guy...possibly a MISCer.

The other was me and a roommate, from a previous place (the owner sold it), went and rented with a sloot whose parents owned the place. She would do things like constantly bitch about "spills" in the kitchen and neither of us would have any clue wtf she was talking about, kind of an "OCD dickchit" about trivial BS as well. The one roommate moved out, and not long after her and I had an incident and I woke up to an eviction notice the next day.

One time when I was living in a party house with 4 other guys, one of them was hammered and had a 3 hour yelling angry session in the middle of a big party they were throwing one night. From like 12am - 3am, because his gf sucked another guy's dink. Ruined the whole night, and ruined my chances of getting any decent sleep. The upstairs of that house had a 2 ft lane to walk through piles of empty pizza boxes and empty beers, and the upstairs bathroom (which I never used) didn't get cleaned once the entire year we lived there.

Lived in a frat house with thirteen guys for three years, so I had some really interesting people around me at all times.

Funniest thing that ever happened: we had a brother who was into Wicca ie thought he was a witch. Painted his room black, had all sorts of creepy crap around, etc. He used to bring home some pretty strange girls. One afternoon we're watching TV in the living room and we hear a female voice calling out: HELLO? Is anyone there? It's coming from his bedroom. I guess he had brought a girl home and had to go to class so he handcuffed her to his bed so she would stay there. She was the typical goth girl, and she wasn't even pissed about being handcuffed to the bed, she just had to go to the bathroom. He came back after another couple of hours, she had locked herself back up and he railed her all night long.

You basically had to expect that everyone knew what you were doing at all times, there was zero privacy, and the place was messy 95% of the time unless we were having women over.

Yeah my 2nd year of college I played football, but for some reason they roomed me with some twink instead of someone else on my team. He would always get his friends to prank call me like they were in fukkin middle school or something. And he was always super uptight and crying about my laundry, even though I had it done every week. Also was constantly crying about what kind of music I listen to, when the sh!t he listened to was 10x worse. Basically just terrible pop music or club music like the thong song all the time, and he would dance in the mirror to work on his moves. Most of that stuff I just got used to, but the worst part was that he’d always bring home random guys to smash. So I’m laying there trying to sleep because I have to be at practice by 5:30 in the morning and I have to listen to this twink get bottomed out for 2 hours. Plus he had IBS, which made it infinitely worse. After sex they’d argue about how messy it was half the time and his bed always smelled like sh!t. Looking back I can’t believe I made it through the semester with him.

Honestly thought the thread would be full of intricate, long and detailed stories that ended with a chitsmearing.

LOL, I feel for you, bro. I'm not homophobic but I felt creeped out even staying in an AirBnb owned by two gay dudes. They were really nice guys, but I was lying in bed worried I'd be able to hear them bumming each other and even more disturbingly, being able to smell it.


I've heard after gays have sex there is a nasty chit smell which permeates the general area and wafts out. I was walking past a gay nightclub once , during the day, and a janitor or someone opened up these twin doors and this horrible smell of ass just wafted out onto the street. I just shuddered and hurriedly walked past, lol.


I've also heard low-key that Airbnb owners don't like fhaggot couples because the poo smell is difficult to get out of the rooms afterwards.
