Why do people think Gta6 will be good?

I don't get it, the trailer had the same graphics Gta5 did 15 years ago and the series creators have all left.

Why do you people think a western game made in 2023 by the blue haired interns going to be good?

While I found really nothing special about its most recent trailer, it's an exaggeration to say that it has the same graphics as gta 5 did 15 years ago.

As to why people went crazy about that trailer, it's just sheep mentality. Nothing new.

It was a CGI trailer. Nothing about that trailer reflects actual gameplay or graphics.

Rockstar is one of the very few companies that releases consistent awesome games. GTA games are almost always like 2 years ahead of everyone else in graphics too.

GTAV was basically a next gen game for the PS3 360 game made to be enhanced. I imagine we won't even see the true potential for GTA6 till next gen.

Yeah but you will probably need some $5,000 top of the line beast of a gaming PC to unlock it's full potential. Should be a good experience on Series X though, maybe even on PS5 pro if that becomes a thing.

Not in 1080p or 1440p. A 3050 will probably run it. Yeah the Series X is a beast i am thinking it will still be relevant 10-15 years from now what do you think?

Well just look at GTAV. It's over 10 years old and it's still one of the most popular games with them still running ads for it.

Yeah I do have a Series X as well, my One X is loaded up with a bunch of older games, while my Series X is dedicated to current gen games and FPS boost games.

But yeah, most new games get overhyped and overrated.

They are. People are hyping up the Indiana Jones game now but idk about it tbh. Now Emperors Tomb was an amazing game.

Yeah that PS1 - PS2 era was the golden age for that 3'rd person platforming gaming. PS3 - PS4 is when the cinematic presentation took over.

As for the point n click genre, it was definitely a big DOS era thing.

After experiencing RDR2, I'm ready for another immersive experience. That game's attention to detail and immersion was outstanding. Expecting at least some of that to carry over into GTA 6.

I've never finished a Rockstar game before though, srs. GTA 6 might be the first one. And I think some people are kind of hyped about GTA 6 Online being an economic reset essentially.
