I can tell you're American. Europeans and Americans think in 5 year time spans, they are short term thinkers. Iranians (and Chinese among others) are long term thinkers, we can bare Israel for 10 years, 20 years or maybe even 100 more years, but it will go. Defeating Israel is a long term endavour.

First America must be weakened. This will happen inevitably as their demographics change and their sovereign debt grows. Then Israel must be defeated in a slow and steady manner.

Any drastic moves will result in Nukes flyring around. To defeat them they must first be whittled down, demoralised, to lose faith in the whole concept of Israel. Only then can they be removed.

1. There's is no guarantee the US will decline. And while you are waiting it out, they will continue to exert force. This thinking also assumes that Americans are not resilient. They are very resilient.
