I totally agree, this is a relatively high risk stock. $500 is a relatively small portion of my portfolio, but I've been thinking about throwing some cash in Fisker or Lucid for some time. I'm all for ICE vehicles, but I'm optimistic of the EV's future. Definitely not on a Democrat's level, but still worth investing in. I think if they survive the next year or two, they might have good potential.

That would be around $9billion valuation while Ford is worth $44billion, GM worth $48billion, Toyota worth $329billion
Hmmmmm

A US company could sell an $8k golf cart that would be the same end price as the thing from China after the subsidy
Assuming that legislation survives if Trump is elected, lots of question marks there

I'm about 88% into the s&p500, and the rest is Verizon, Microsoft and Walmart (for a communications, tech and retail approach). I've been looking more into EV stocks lately, and this thread kind of made me act on it. As impulsive as that may sound, lmao. I plan to hold and invest for the next 2-5 years, unless it blows up and I decide to cash out, or goes bankrupt. It's tempting to throw even $10k in there, would become $260k if they make it and return to the high

Fiskers seems to be burning far too much cash.
They had -$350 million in revenue and had $600 million left at the end of Q3.
They produced 10K cars and delivered 4K in 2023.
Scaling and profitability will be a heck of a challenge for them.

Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

EV market is way too saturated but you're welcome to light your money on fire if you'd like to

I'll be throwing another $50 into Fisker today, I might also throw $50 into Lucid for the hell of it. They experienced huge gains out of nowhere.
Edit- 70/30 ratio of Fisker/Lucid. Webull wouldn't let me put only $50 in, I had to buy 100 shares to make the purchase.

Fisker could be a decent short term play with money you are comfortable with losing entirely. Definitely a gamble stock where with such low prices you could 2-3x your investment, but you could also lose half of it in weeks too.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!
