He died from covid. Obviously he had some factors that lead to the virus being more detrimental to him. He was a smoker in his early 50s.

Going to also point out:Many(if not most) people in this country are:
- Obese
- Diabetic or pre-diabetic
- Have high blood pressure
- Suffer some other comorbidity

Someone being in their 50s, maybe a little soft, smoking or drinking -- this isn't some rare unicorn, this is the majority of this country.

And, for those people -- especially early on, Covid was a potential risk and something to take seriously (although I do think the official numbers are likely to have been fudged somewhat). Still, I know at least one person who had a rough time of covid, kind of unexpected (male barely middle aged, only a little overweight, heavy drinker but no other bad habits), had to go to the ER and was given oxygen, took him a full month to recover (meanwhile, his diabetic wife who was more overweight - did perfectly fine).

Because I am bothered that just a couple years ago, it was common and accepted for respectable people with influence wishing death and mockeryon people who were at the time telling the truth about the vaccines.

- Covid vaccines do not stop you from either getting or transmitting the disease
- The lockdowns were largely ineffective
