Because they’re not logical.

They’re trying to attract a mate. We are a product of our society. Women are fiercely competitive within their gender and they also mimic other women who they deem as superior. Wake up, look around. All women use social media and dress scantily whilst going to the gym. Why? To attract a mate and/or receive attention that would enable them to compete with and surpass other women in the acquisition of attention, which ultimately leads to a higher probability of attracting a mate. Why? Men are attracted to women that other men are attracted to. It’s called the halo affect.

The same reason you as a man go to the gym as well. For muscles. Why muscles? Because they’re attractive, at least to an extent you think they are that would enable you to increase your odds of attracting a mate as well.

Honestly i find it stranger that dudes wear heavy sweatshirts/full-on hoodies in a warm indoor gym. I barely wear a stringer and get hot and sweaty AF. Cannot imagine any reason to wear a heavy sweatshirt unless you have thyroid problems or just really hate the look of your body.
