This trend with large sreens on smartphones is pissing me off

bought a samsung galaxy a54 and I am very happy with battery life and the display quality

but goddamn I hate big screen phones and the trend seems to make them larger and larger to kinda make tablets obsolete

I ****ing hate having it in my pocket or holding it for prolonged periods of time

if Apple improves battery life and continues a series of SEs and Minis, I might convert ONLY for that reason dead fkn srs

Damn, I feel bad for OP buying a samsung that isn't part of the S+ or S ultra flagship series.


I dont know anyone in real life that willingly bought an A series. I dont think I'd want to know them either.

Same complaint. My new iPhone feels awkward s fukk in my pocket.

And that’s basically the only “upgrade” they make each year, is increase the size of the screen. So in 10 yrs it will literally be a tablet.

Loved my S10 but being stuck on an outdated OS sucks. The fact that they build in obsolescence also sucks, but I have more money to spend on a new phone than I have time to spend finding workarounds to make old phones keep chugging.

Honestly, we've gone from bigger screens and now we're going to smaller screens with variants.


If you're a woman that prefers smaller screens then you have the flip, which can easily be folded into your pocket, with the bigger screen when you flip it over and the smaller screen when it's closed in.

If you're looking for the best of both worlds, then you go for the Fold series, which gives you a huge screen when you fold out, but also a smaller screen when you keep it folded.


Either you're too poor to afford the flagship phones or you're kind of a unique boomer and maybe smartphones aren't for you lol. Time to go back to dumb phones.

What are people doing on their phones that they need a new one all the time?

I can take decent enough pictures, can view websites, can send messages, and make calls. None of this is slow or inconvenient.

I see some phones with the different camera lenses, but If you are that into taking pictures, you should probably just get an actual camera.

I got an s23 cause it was cheap on black Friday but it's too small I don't even use it. Fkn hate small phones
