That was the issue here. No matter who won once it was the final two, it didn’t matter since the stakes were exactly the same and would still get to the same end goal. Would have been fascinating had there been a 3rd party/X factor who was built up to be split between potentially deciding either Roman or Rollins based on creative progression. Have them be in the final two with either and now it becomes interesting. Or hell, have them win and have the idea of circling back to Punk/Rollins and Cody/Roman as more in the air. Instead piss creative runs through.

What the fook? Am I supposed to be interested in a Roman vs Cody Rhodes Wrestlemania again? As if it isn’t predictable that Rhodes will be winning this time around.

A failed opportunity to do something cool for this Wrestlemania with The Rock. A good way to keep me from tuning in.

First time ive watched wrestling since i was a kid. Decided to watch a rumble.

What. The. Fukk. Have they done to wrestling. Wtf was even that embarrassment.


How can guys like HHH who was a huge part of the attitude era be involved in the creative process for this steaming pile of dog CHIT.

Absolutely brutal.


Wrestling used to be TOP tier entertainment.


Only way to save the WWE is to blow it up. Get rid of 95% if these weirdos they have now and start fresh. Fire all the writers, hire people who watched the attitude era and bring some respect back to the WWE

So many of them are just so generic, even some of the top guys. There isn't much that defines each and every wrestler that sets them apart from the others. With a few exceptions, their entrance music is also generic garbage.

Yes, some of these may sound lame now, but at least you knew what "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase was about, "The Real American" Hulk Hogan, and "The Excellence of Execution" Bret Hart, and "The HeartBreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, etc, etc. You knew what they were about and you got invested.

All these current guys are interchangeable, and as such, why would anyone care about them?

ETA: Oh...and get rid of all the stupid exotic names that so many current wrestlers have. WTF is the purpose of saddling these guys with those shyte names?

I highly doubt it at this point, seeing how Wrestlemania and summerslam have been where we get the title changes nowadays. I’m so annoyed I spent 4 hours watching that boring chit, in hopes of a surprise outcome. Complete chit show. If they really wanted Rhodes, they should’ve just done it last year.

High IQ post. I hadn't even considered that. No way Rock wants to get the stink of this mess on him.

Anyway. I'm surprised but glad Cody won. It would have been better for him to win Mania last year, but it needs to happen this year. The title needs to come off Roman for the long term health of the product. This makes it pretty clear they will finally let it happen.
