A lot of you should switch to owning a truck SRS

I was just down a trucking rabbit hole because my algorithm on YouTube was getting saucy.

So I needed to know what these people make.







Those aren’t outliers, they appear to be pretty standard

1) 2020-2022 was the best time in the last 30 years for truckers. Rates aren't going to stay like that forever.

2) To get an idea of the actual average income, take internet brag posts and cut them in half. That's the real income, if you're lucky.

That is right around what I am making, right around 13k, Tuesday-Fri, Friday half day. Own my own business and drive a Ram Rebel that I use to haul product/equipment in. I bought mine brand new in 2020 all decked out for 52k (it's a 2021)..same truck today is over $70k

If I operated my business 6 days a week I'd be over $25k a month, but I'm 44 yrs old, I enjoy the time off more than the extra cash these days.

Look at that.. we even got some misc truck drivers to add their income to the mix.

No excuse to be broke in 2024 with this kind of money to be made.

Indeed.
I use to have my Class B, and drove making deliveries and swore I would never get a truck as a daily, always had sports cars, but once I got a truck, can't imagine driving anything else. If I want faster these days, I'll get on the motorcycle, but even that's a cruiser that I put the wife on the back. My days of needing to be the fastest on the road are over. Much rather have an enjoyable comfortable ride that is actually versatile.

The maintenance is insane, you're getting it worked on every 6 weeks even if it's just oils/tires



You'll spend more time on the road driving than you will at home especially starting out, enjoy your 75 hour work weeks

Only seniority is making $100K+ with companies & are able to pick their routes; it takes 20 years to get there
