This is a great feature of the US system.

Unlike in Canada where you only have liberal candidates who always vote for high taxes and terrible services, in the US if the government is neglecting certain parts of the country they can vote the government out and put someone in place who looks out for their interests.

Of course after about 16 straight years of Democrat politicians, the Blue states will be more flush with cash than Red States. Now it's time to send these bums packing and elect someone who is looking out for people in the other areas and let the cities crumble and become infested with homeless for a decade.
