Why Are Miscers So Obsessed Trashing Other People's Enjoyment/Hobbies?

I have been a member of many forums throughout the years, from Sherdog to audiophile, even comic books and band specific forums, etc. And even in their general talk areas, there is not much trashing about other people's fun. Only in Misc.

Are you guys joking around like in highsdchool/college days? Or are you serious trashing about things you do not do/like, yet others find enjoyable? I hope it is all just fooling around/gimmicks.

Give some examples OP. I haven't seen anyone trashing anyone else here.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Anything in excess is bad. I doubt when someone says gaming is bad they're talking about a person who games 2-3 hours a week and has a good job and takes care of their family.

Yes they are. There are literally miscers (multiple actually) who are very vocal about vidya games being bad period.
