Price of each stock unit makes no difference... you can buy any fraction of an ETF.

The current market cap of the company is the measure of whether it is expensive or not.
The highest dollar amount single share of any company that I own right now is Chipotle...~$2,300.
Is that expensive? Probably...I started selling off my position when it topped 2000, mostly because I wanted to realize some of the gains for the last tax year and I thought it would be able to get back in cheaper in the near future.
I would buy it again at anywhere below 1500, which I would consider cheap.
Inb4 it rockets to 3000 and I bailed too soon.
I bought it at 525 when everyone was freaking out about a little bit of poop in the lettuce.

I donโt have the patience to invest. Legit. Sucks, but Iโd legit just end up losing money.

I do a lot of covered calls, so having 100 of any 2XXX stock would be too large a % of my portfolio. I do have a lot of QQQ which is at 429

I'm a big proponent of buying right before stock splits. Worked very well with NVDA and AMZN.
