The problems I foresee are this:
- this program will attract every single illegal dreg to come to NYC.
- a $1,000 is a start but with the cost of living getting higher, I would not be surprised if illegals start to demand more (especially those who say they have families, and children to support).
- the pressure (and expectation) tp pay up every month will strain NYCs resources forcing either budget cuts and/or higher taxes which means curtailing of essential services like sanitation.
- those with the monetary means will leave NYC, putting tax pressure on the lower and middle class.
- American citizens who are homeless, financially struggling, veterans, etc will all be up at arms at this program and rightfully ask for their share of government support/financial assistance.
- the illegals will come to expect money now and if they don't get it on time, every time, there is a very real chance they may riot, cause problems/disturbances, turn to crime etc .
