How did you visit Russia as an American without being arrested and accused of being a spy? I'm too afraid that would happen to me, simply for just being a veteran. I have no idea how they would find out, but I wouldn't doubt it. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

the businesses are privately owned until the people running them are no longer needed. this is how things work, and have always worked over there: majority of them are corrupt, and the gov't knows it, but as long as they keep in line, then no one touches them. as soon as they screw up in some way, the gov't arrests them for corruption, and takes their businesses away, and installs someone else in their place. that's why a lot of their businessmen and politicians have fled the country over the years.

their elections are as legit and secure as the ones in america's recent years. that's why putin is still in power after all these years. look at what has happened to his opposition in the recent months. they're getting disqualified due to "errors in paperwork."

it's very naive to think that russia (and china) are the good guys.

OP is ecstatic about Russia making a clone of McDonald's. Same food different wrapper. They hate Americans so much that they can't come up with anything of their own.

What are you guys eating tonight? I feel like eating some Russian food..... said no one ever. I know Italian cuisine, Mexican, Indian, Greek, Japanese, you name it, but the only thing that people know about Russia is a fuking soup and vodka.

Russia must really have nothing going for them if cloning McD's is their proudest achievement.

BTW, you're free to leave US and move to Russia at anytime. No one is holding you hostage. Just saying. For some reason everyone who's shilling for Russia always lives in a Western country that they love to bitch about but refuse to leave, unless you're a wanted fugitive or some other degenerate.

I don't claim they are "good guys". I think all governments have a certain amount of corruption. I don't judge the Russian people by their politicians just as I hope they don't judge us by Biden and Trump and any of our other politicians.

The homeless is not an issue there because they have the 3 a strikes rule.

1. First time, you are warned.

2.Second timek, mandatory rehab and job training + they put you up during that time.

3. If you are caught back on the street the 3rd time after all of that, jail

I'm not saying people don't slip through the cracks of this program, though.

most cities in america are ****holes that look like that, like 95% of em. keep coping though

I am American myself, im just pointing out things. Alot of the replys here remind me of this little exchange:

Oh, and the reason we are supposed to hate Russia is because Russia has been keeping Iran and Syria alive (Israel's last perceived threats in the middle east) through all the jewish sanctions.

I don't hate Russia. Just pointing out your delusional perception. It's like that one red alt who would post the same China threads for weeks a few months ago. Yeah parts of China looks nice and manicured, but there are stilll MANY chitholes in that country.

You have to apply for a tourist visa. I applied through a consulate in TX. You need a sponsor. It can be a friend or even a hotel you plan to stay at. It took about 3 weeks to get the visa. Then you book your flight. Turkish Airlines flies from major airports to IST, then you switch from IST (you'll see a lot of hair transplant bros at the ist airport. Pay them no mind..they are a little grumpy.) to either St Petersburg or Moscow.

Once you get there the immigration officers gave me no hassle whatsoever. Just don't bring drugs of any kind. If you have a script make sure you have the doctor script. Don't bring edibles or hash or medical marijuana (like Britney Griner did)

Prices must have gone up. I got a Citi credit card and got a sign up bonus, transferred the bonus points to Turkish Miles program and that paid for one way business.

Imagine forcing multinational companies to pull out of a country
The response is they build and invest in local companies and keep the money in country
Seems like it backfired

lol what a dumb bitch.

A guy was arrested because his 6 year old girl drew an anti-war picture in her elementary class

Kindergarten teacher reported it to the government and police came in to question the girl on her drawing. Turns out her father was against the Ukraine War and voiced it within the house.

They arrest the father for this.

He literally got imprisoned in Russia because of his 6 year olds speech. Lmao.

But yea, USA and Russia are morally equivalent.
Stupid whore.
