I inherited 8 million from my grandfather, what should I do with it?

I was thinking about investing in crypto. Looks like dogecoin is about to bump up for the next bull run.

Spend a few hours educating yourself about low cost index investing. Put most of it in there. You can safely withdraw approx 250K/yr in perpetuity.

Forget about crypto unless it's say 1-2% in BTC. Srs.

Theres gotta be some kind of crash coming up soon if you look at the max charts, maybe similar to the mar.'20 one, and it seems like HBAR/LINK/CSPR are good long term picks as of now

Jesus there's no point in any sort of risk exposure with that kind of money.

History and math say lump sum buy and hold is the best approach. I'm assuming OP is young and has time on his side. If the story is true (unlikely) and he is patient and disciplined (even less likely) he could turn this into generational wealth. On the other hand, inflation will ravage even a large amount of cash over a long enough timeframe. You need risk exposure.

If he's really nervous, could DCA over a year or two, no big deal.

Can also keep 2-3 years expenses in cash/HISA/bills.

Not a financial advisor but I would probably Buy some property straight cash and fuk the interest nonsense and instantly diversify a chunk, if you need a home and want a house even better but could speculate on some land or buy a rental or whatever type of headache you were interested in (mo money mo problems)

Invest in physical goods that hold some value with another small small chunk
(Guns, ammo, metals, collectibles (be fukking discerning here and be interested in owning whatever it is)

Then some crypto/stock whatever the fuk

Then have a good chunk of it still sitting fukking fat where half could be worst cast retirable and half could be a future business opp.
