Sucks cuz I really enjoyed the Arkham trilogy(even bought them release day, and have the steelbook for the last one). I wanted to buy this when it was announced but they said co-op live service. Nope.

It's weird, right as it came out -- all the reviews (from big sites) were glowing and positive. Once the backlash hit, suddenly every review is more critical (although not critical enough of the horrible writing, which they usually either continue to praise or fail to mention).

Almost as if they have two reviews at the helm ready to hit.

Obligatory"you get what you fücking deserve"for making a rubbish live service game.

Then you have the same publisher of a single player Harry Potter game that managed tooutsell Legend of Zelda.

Will WB learn any important lessons from this? Probably not, and there's a real chance they double down on scummy practices. Shame that it's these cocksuckers who have (at least some) of the rights for LotR games; we were eating better when EA had them. I don't even get the impression that post Discovery takeover that WB has much interest for making games if they can't turn them around into monetization schemes with flashing lights attached.
