In-N-Out food is underwhelming

Mediocre af. Thin patties, need more than one or even two. Fries are no better than McD. Misc was wrong. Disappointed.

Service is outstanding though. And the Flying Dutchman style is better than with a bun.

I finally lived in a place that had IN N Out.

I had it one time.


Then I ate there one more time a few years later.

Thats it. Only went back a single time. It is so mediocre, its not even worth trying to google. I don't miss it now that I'm back where they don't exist...

In-N-Out is the last fast food place that hasn't tried to go premium.

Every other place will charge you $10 for a sandwich.

In-N-Out is still $7 for a decent burger and fries.

In n out is great, for what it is. which is a somewhat higher quality, reliable fast food joint that has remained cheap despite inflation. People who end up thinking it's underwhelming bought into the hype.

I would put in n out over just about any fast food burger besides MAYBE five guys depending on the mood I'm in. I wouldn't put it over any actual decent burger from a legit restaurant.

What I don't get is all the love for the flying dutchman. why tf would you want a "burger" that is a sloppy mess and requires you to basically hold onto grease

Had it for the first time in Nov.

Burger was good and cheap too. Fries sucked.

Burgers are pretty good. Not great but better than most. Worth the cost for sure. Which isn't even that much.

Fries are below average imo. Avoid.

Service is outstanding.

in n out is the goat fast food place IMO. Only times I really eat fast food at chipotle and there. Hard to beat 9 bucks these days for a double double meal.

In n out is great. It’s just kinda an acquired taste. You have to figure out how to order the burger the way to like it, then it hits.

For me, double double style animal style, no tomatoes.


Their fries are dog sht. Absolutely the worst fries available.

Agree OP. I haven't been there a lot, but I'd say it was OK, nothing special.

I'd add American cheese on anything but the cheapest fast-food burger is a disgrace.

It's not that I hate it, it's that there are options that are so much better. I'll never rate a burger with American cheese above 4/10.

I've never had in n out but five guys is the best out of all the chain burger joints. A regular hamburger with lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, mushrooms, and pickles is my go-to.

Shake shack has the best fries but piping hot McDonald fries are right up there

Yeah the fries aren't that good. They are a lot better when you order them animal style, then you have to eat it with a fork.

The animal style burger is also a lot better.
