So they gotta recoup that production money any way they can, even if it means ponying up money to the competition.

Or at least have a map. May get more favorable reception than Xbox launch.

The forge maps in this game are incredible as well, forge is so powerful if the Dev puts in effort you can't tell that it's not an official map.
Love when they add more forge maps to playlists.

I’ve played it on Xbox
Star field was the worst game I ever played in my life. I have like 1 hour playing time (basically played until I could “free roam”)
You can’t do anything in it. Can’t explore nothing it is seriously the worse game I ever played
There’s an invisible wall where you can’t travel past like 3 acres when you “enter” a planet. It’s seriously a joke. Loading screen game. Nothing like no man’s sky or star citizen
On top of all that, the game is like 25-30fps (LMAO) so if you’re staying for a story you’re playing on Xbox 360 tier gameplay
It’s not open world in the slightlest

Most of us "Sony ponies" have already tried it on PC. It was highly average at best. But the loading screens absolutely does take the overally experience down quite a notch.

Bethesda has been in such a weird position this entire generation.
First they were PS5 + PC exclusive for a limited time, then they were Xbox + PC exclusive, and now they're back to being PS5 + Xbox + PC.
They're like the video game studio side bitch being tossed around and can never get a stable relationship.
Bethesda can't reverse time and surprise people a second time either, and with the cat out of the bag, the most common response I've seen and can resonate with is that any potential interest immediately vanished.
Xbox also had the extra advantage of having Game Pass, so not everyone had to pay money for Starfield. Unless Game Pass magically appears on Playstation in time for the Starfield release, they will have an even harder sell for a full fat $70 purchase and less criticality because it was "free."

Everything I've read, heard, and seen about Starfield paints the same picture: the problems go deeper than the usual bugs or glitches and extend to the core pillars of why people play Bethesda RPGs in the first place, while whatisthere simply cannot remotely compete with its contemporaries. Worse, Starfield can't even compete with Bethesda's own games, either.
Releasing after Baldur's Gate 3 was practically the death knell because there was just zero comparison from a strictly RPG narrative or character standpoint. Just going off of how reportedly dynamic BG3's choices are and how they impact the entire game, Bethesda's "multiverse" that is nothing more than marginally different NG+ levels to grind outDragonDragonShouts looks like amateur hour by comparison, except it was 8yearsof development and hundreds of millions of dollars from a triple-A developer that wasthenfurther backed by what was the second and now isthehighest valued company in the world.
Bethesda would have to fundamentally redesign the entire game because there's no easy "fix" for things likethis, which is the bulk of their "genius" of a thousand RNG planets. For how much Bethesda was patting themselves on the dick for claiming that Starfield was "NASApunk," there's nothing "punk" about it when Starfield is just so gutless, milquetoast, inoffensive, anddullfrom the same studio that produced Morrowind and the Shivering Isles.
With the amount of work they'd have to put in to Starfield, they seriously might just be better off running a poll to see if people would rather they just shít out the legally obligatory DLC promised with the deluxe editions and move on back to TES and Fallout.
Either that or see if MS can strike up another deal with Disney to make it StarWars, pay the modders who already made Star Wars conversions, and call it an open world Star Wars game. It's alreadylameandgayenough that it could pass for a Disney game, anyways.

Starfield is flawed at it's most fundamental level and I dont think any CDPR level of work can fix it .... and we all know Bethesda don't bother fixing up their games. It'll remain as a soulless husk that people keep trying to convince you it's Skyrim in space - which is an insult to Skyrim.
I dont think even modder's can save it despite people saying this game will have legs.

First they were PS5 + PC exclusive for a limited time, then they were Xbox + PC exclusive, and now they're back to being PS5 + Xbox + PC.
They're like the video game studio side bitch being tossed around and can never get a stable relationship.
And the PC reception waswiththe luxury of having mods to try and patch up the mess.
It's kind of hard to say because Bethesda has never had to fix one of their own games to this degree.
