Thank you, Duckliver. People don't realize that Soviet hammer and sickle flag was taken down in 1991.

People can argue on whether or not Russia is a dictatorship, but it’s a fact that they use a capitalistic economic system. They don’t hand out free apartments, products are not controlled by the state, anyone can open their own business, citizens are free to come and go from the country. But it did take a while for everything to adjust from communist to capitalist.

They don't care if someone is trans or an athiest. None of it is against the law. However they do have laws against propaganda so, for example, a trans parade or other public displays would not tolerated.

I mean Putin completely understands the process going on with Frankfurt school bred critical theories in our academics in the west. He may have even played into it and started helping the push when he came to power in 2000. Which lines up with yuri 20 year demoralization timeline and 2020 unrest.

However, critical theory was a Bolshevik tool to subvert our taboos and morals in order to bring about a communist change after destruction. Putin doesn’t give two fuks about communism, he will happily give a push to help destabilizing us on the other hand.

But they are 100% aware of the goals and methods of critical theory. Also to note critical theory has no basis in socialist ideaology, its entire purpose is to destabilize and create useful idiots.

Well that’s a different issue.

It can be a dictatorship without being communist! All communist countries are dictatorships, but not all dictatorships are communist. People insist Russia is communist but it is not. Communism is not a stand-in word for dictatorship.

Communism is a form of government where the wealth is distributed among the people and they all get the same things, and people cannot open their own businesses because all businesses are owned by the government.

For example, there was 1 brand of crackers “government crackers”, 2 brand of soap “government soap”. Now in Russia you can open whatever type of business you want, restaurant, store, bank, etc. I’m oversimplifying it but there were no companies in the USSR. All of the purchasable goods were produced by the government. Not the case today in Russia.

Also people are responsible for earning their own money and do not get handouts. And a fast food worker does not make the same amount as a rocket scientist.
