Why are people still saying this chit. This is a trilogy of games with a new story.

I've never seen anyone say they need to wait for an entire trilogy to come out before playing except for this remake and I don't get it.

Naw Phuck final fantasy

Remake part 1 was meh, the graphics were good sure but the combat system is just so outdated.

8.1 user score on metaceitic for part 1....ouch and that's a fair score.

Persona 3 reload will be the better JRPG, I'll wait for a sale to play through ff7 remake 2

Persona combat literally hasnt changed lol. Just the same rock paper scissors turnbased they've done and that can be done by 2d games.

FF7 is the most advanced combat we've seen using modern technology with the visuals, speed and real time coordination of an entire party.

Rebirth has made it much smoother and faster like butter. Switching from Cloud to Sephiroth doing moves was orgasmic

If I am like suuuuper honest and nitpicky, I actually like the slower speed of combat in the previous game. It just felt a bit more weighty and meaty.


I mean the speed is nice in the new game, but I kinda like the feel of the remake more. It's not too big of a deal though, just my own preference.

Gonna have to relearn the combat. It was super clicking with me during my hard mode run. It was amazing. Add in the new combos with other characters on top, I’m gonna need to practice.

I didn't enjoy the combat.. i pushed through and think i stopped playing just after you get red/the dog thing

I can't remember the chapter which really killed my will to push through.. think it was one when you get a bunch of sub quests (find chocobos etc)

You can't be serious with that "outdated" comment lmao.

Persona games are literal dungeon crawlers. That design has hardly been changed since the 90's.

I personally loved FF7 remake. It was one of those games that after I completed, I just had to sit back and collect my thoughts on what just happened. Absolutely looking forward to Rebirth. Zack showing up in the altered timeline, as an unforeseen consequence of Sephiroth attempting to change his fate through the Lifestream, is intriguing as fck. I honestly can't wait to see what they do with the story.

people get so weird about ff7 and find so many reasons to not like it or even play it that they would never do for any other game. its fukin weird.
