If Biden resigns will it really be Kamala as president?

I was joking about this a few years ago but it looks like it's actually a possibility now.

What are the implications of this?

If he resigns or declines to go forward at the convention then it probably won't be Harris. The delegates at the convention pledged to Biden would be able to vote for whoever they wanted.

It doesn't sound like he's ready to quit, though. Unless his people convince him to quit idk what anyone can do about it regarding him being the nominee.

Actually, if he actually resigned Harris would be president right then. But idk what would happen at the convention because she wouldn't have any pledged delegates.

Yea, I mean immediately, like if he quit tomorrow. It would have to be Harris until the election.. which is still 11 months to go. Lot could go wrong by then.

I think we've pretty much covered everything that could go wrong with this pathetic administration...

She'd just be held up as "the first" due to Biden's racist, sexist VP selection criteria, while anyone who dares to question or criticize her inept performance in office would be branded as racist and sexist.
