My problem, to this point, is how one-sided people were allowed to be. Nobody was allowed to question it respectfully, to openly ask whether this was right for all kids, to push back in any manner. Any attempt was immediately depicted as some broadly hateful anti-trans rhetoric from a far right extremist bigot.

This is not a black and white situation. It's tricky, it's nuanced and it demands honest and open dialogue -- which has not been permitted. There is more than one side to this debate and both sides must be heard.

The only dog in this fight I am upset with is how people were censored to keep this discussion from happening. The actual extremists were allowed to control the entire narrative and that is and was bullchit.

In these forums, I've pushed back on this overwhelmingly "MUST BE TRANS. ALL TRANS. ANYTHING LESS=HATE" and been accused of being a bigot (by the usual suspects), people who are just here to disagree, people who are only capable of lining up 100% with what "their team" tells them to do or just terrible people. So, let's not pretend it's not out there, but at the same time I know for a fact most people, even on the left, are not 100% in line with the LGBTQ Trans narrative when it comes to children and transitioning. More of you need to stand up and say something.

Thats the problem. The screeching left looked at it from an ideological/religious lens instead of the health of the actual child. Sad.

Sounds eerily similar to the Covid 19 arguments from the left. Nobody was allowed any dissenting opinions against the "experts" while it was going on. Then they have the nerve to endlessly repeat the "muh democracy" is at risk argument for whatever they don't agree with...

Boy, it's almost as if the majority of these trans cases were actually nothing more than a giant trend after all.

There was some local article a while ago about how at one school a majority of kids had pronouns or identified as bi, gay, whatever. It’s the in thing right now especially in blue cities.

Social media is a helluva drug. Gotta do anything to fit in.
