Just let me know what we're doing now. Not sure if I should continue to hate Starfield even though it's coming to PlayStation now. I spent my whole life fanboying over some billion dollar corporation who doesn't give a fk about me and I'm not about to stop. Too deep into the chit.

Yes. Game looks sterile and completely lacks in grit and character. Bringing on PS is only to help recuperate some of the loss in revenue it failed to generate.

You always try to use this type of logic with me but I play primarily on pc and own Xbox and ps5 as well. You just hate to hear it from someone who doesn't have the console biases that you do.

The difference is I know Gaben loves games me unconditionally, and Xbox and Sony only love me if they have my credit card on file to be billed monthly.

I'll never play Starfailed. If any PS5 owner here was hating on it because it was on Xbox that's disingenuous and cringe. It's objectively a mediocre game and I have no time for mediocre games. Opinion may change in 5 years and many, many updates but as it stands it can sit in the bargain bin.

-Constant loading Screens
-Terrible animations
-Terrible NPC
-Terrible facial animations.

Honestly I just really loved things like their backwards compatibility, X enhanced and FPS boost tech for old games, and their focus on Forza games that I really enjoyed. Only "exclusive" content I play on Series X is just Gamepass stuff that I would rather play on my TV, like Flight Simulator, Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, ect. Heck Gamepass Ultimate is also good on my PC. Outside of that I seem to play 3'rd party all the time. I think GT7 is probably the only PS5 exclusive I give a chit about, and I was playing that on my old PS4 before I bought a PS5 just to have a 4K upgrade with that game. Am I bemoaning the lack of other games exclusive to it? No, they have had a lot of Plus Premium content I enjoyed, and I have a bunch of 3'rd party games that really appeal to me.

I have no idea why some people seem to get locked into thinking just very specific games make a platform worthwhile, like there is nothing to play besides exclusive titles or something. It's weird.

Another reason it's great to have a pc. Brb can play almost any old game. I have some old splinter cell games in my backlog. You could have bought a 1440p rig for the price of a series x and ps5.

It's a game built around 2006 game design.

-Several loading screens.
-Bad animations. Running/walking feels like quake 2003
-Terrible NPC. No emotion. No reaction. Might as well be manikins.
-Terrible enemies. Halo 1 had better enemies.

With my backlog growing every month, I honestly can't see myself ever going back to Starfield any time soon. It's so low on my priority list right now

Theres at least a dozen games on gamepass I'd like to finish first (whenever I decide to re-subscribe on PC)

Bruh that's why I've been a fan of One X and Series X as well, GOAT backwards compatibility, can play pretty much all of the highlight 360 titles as well as loads of original Xbox titles all enhanced. Playing old games on that as well as PC is one of the best things about modern platforms, you can easily enjoy GOAT older games on modern hardware.

I've heard the Starfield rumor was never actually sourced. But who knows. Don't really know why MS needed to wait 3 weeks to even address the news. If they release it on PS, it's a massive fail for the company and industry IMO.

All told, I think Starfield made plenty of money though.
