Denver Mayor Mike Johnston said the cuts 'will not be the last' and likely 'will not be the hardest'
The city is facing a projected $180 million cost to shelter migrants as the crisis continues to stretch resources thin across the nation
Denver has taken over 38,000 migrants since late 2022, while December shattered the record for migrant crossing apprehensions at over 302,000

CBO said these immigrants will end up adding 7 trillion to American GDP.

Yes, your government is saying this is a net positive for the economy.

Check out the thread on this in the Denver subreddit. It’s hysterical. They want to bus them to Florida. So much for being a sanctuary city and all being welcome.

The DNC's social experiment has resulted in the failure of the state. It's expensive to support democrats.

Why is Denver slashing funding to house them?

And why have illegals overran Denvers health care facilities?

I still say bussing them to sanctuary cities is the best thing the Rs have done in years. They finally grew a pair of balls. Time to draw attention to the failure of progressive policy.

Funny how insistent the lawyercels were a year ago that they would file human trafficking charges against Abbott and DeSantis. Any day now...

Listening to that video from the Denver mayor, he sounds like a real Biden ccksucker with a bad case of TDS. Good luck on your goals of cutting 180 million of your '24 budget...

Thankfully it’s a simple fix

For e democrats living in Denver to take in the pond scum

Feed them

Pay their medical bills

Pay for their education

Raise their taxes to cover incidentals

Problem solved

Future cuts to police, firefighters, and sanitation are likely in Denver. Isn't that what NYC announced already? Medical prices will go up too for everyone else.

Blue Colorado and Denver has decided it is more important to spend tax payers money on illegal aliens than taking care of the people living in their state. If they are upset with the many illegals moving to their state they should tell Biden to secure the border and deport the illegals.

Colorado was red until the Californians ran away from their blue chithole in such huge numbers that they flipped the state. They voted for the same chit that destroyed the state they fled. Lets not forget this is a state trying to ensure that a dude who wanted to stop the immigration with a big, beautiful wall cant even run in the election.

Love this for Colorado, I hope they immigrant flow triples.

This is true. I remember when Colorado was solidly red. Then the rich, white, CA liberals started migrating to get away from the high taxes in CA. The dumbfcks just kept voting blue and now, here we are...
