Well yeah, hyperactive agency detection is a core ingredient of all conspiracy theories.

I've made many a post on how to understand complex systems and how they develop and grow without any central designer but nevertheless display the appearance of agency. Of course, conspiracy theorists won't listen to any information that contradicts their stupid theories.


If you contradict them, they just make you part of the conspiracy. Conspiracy theories are just amorphous blobs that swallow everything to prevent refutation.
