An M240i and an M2 are NOT the same car. Nice fraud attempt grandad. We can literally see the 'i' on your boot, and it misses a bunch of the M2 trim.

I'm also giving you benefit of the doubt assuming it's an M240i, and not a 220i or some chit lmao. Either way it's clearlyNOT an M2.

Nah, the diesels have a 'd'. The 'i' is for petrols.

At best it's a 240i, at worst it's a 218i lol. Either way it's clearly not an M2.

I already explained I toned the trim down as the M is a tad in your face. I prefer to be more discrete

... custom? It's not even the newest model of the 2 series so is presumably used unless you've had it for years but only just deciced to share.. lol. It's clearly the F22 generation, which is out of production for like 3-4 years now, replaed by the G42 model, so it's unlikely to be factory custom.

And who is customizing a used M2 to put an I badge on it? And removing all the M2 trim? Mental gymnastics of pish. If you wanted to 'tone' it down you'd just debage... who's then putting an 'i' badge on their car lol

And where's all the M2 trim? It misses the M2 rear splitter, diffuser (which is used to accomodate the quad exit exhaust, but obviously you've omitted the exhaust from your pics, big surprirse), front bumper, and doesn't even have M2 alloys, nor M2 mirrors.

What's more likely, that you decided to buy a used M2 and 'customize' it by removing all the M2 bits and putting poverty trim on it, or you're just lying which is why you have very carefully chosen angled pictures?

utter bollocks, anyone who knows BMW's, knows this is definately not an M2. At best a 235i/240i (which is NOT an M2)

Why are you such a liar? Just like when you told everyone you were getting your 3rd jab then insisted later on that never happened, despite you having posted about it lmao.

Own one for 100k miles and come back. All of that fancy overengineering makes them electrical nightmares. Any mechanic that's been in the business long enough will tell you Audis, BMW,s and Mercedes are some of the biggest piles to work on.

This isn't 2004 anymore, BMWs are much better built.

They're top 6 in reliability rankings. Stick to your Corolla, leave the mogging to the AMG and M drivers

Not going to say they aren't nice, I'm just of the mind on putting simplicity, reliability and a vehicle's purpose first. Big screens and heated seats are nice-to-haves, but don't sway my purchase. My truck for example, it has the trailering/hauling package, 4wd, and its 5.3 will be enough for what I plan on using the truck for. The heated seats and steering wheel weren't even on my mind. Thankfully bought it before covid screwed up prices.

I'll stick to having a Silverado that will haul my race car that'll smoke either of those for less than half the cost. Also, those piles need expensive specialized tools to make repairs, and you cant even reset the oil change light unless you hook up a dealer scan tool to it. Have fun being a slave to the company.

People that buy ///M cars today are usually dorks that dont know anything about cars and buy into the BMW brand recognition. Most likely never had any exposure to the E46 so dont realize how BMW has really taken a dump on all the enthusiasts heads. Most have moved on to other vehicles or stick with the E36/E46 era vehicles.

Spending 90k-100k on an M4 might as well wave a sign above your head that you dont know much about the car enthusiast industry. Which is fine, but you should be aware.
