Listen jackasses. When you have a guest come over your house. I don't care if its a neighbor, relative or mere acquaintance. When you have a guest come over your house, just keep your dog contained. Okay? Is that so difficult? Put him outside. Stick him in a bedroom. Just get him out of the way, alright? If your guest wants to interact with your dog, they'll bring up the topic, then you can let that pup in.
Understand, most people don't want to walk into someone's home and have a dog jumping all over them. Licking their face, paw right in the groin. Folks don't want that. Who wants that? I know you smelly dog owners desperately crave that reaction. You come home from a long day's work and ol' Fido is super excited to see you. What a great feeling, right? I bet it gets some of you boys rock-hard in the pants. Well, most people don't share that same feeling. Many, like myself, find it to be completely invasive and highly uncomfortable. And dogs tend to be a bother when you're trying to eat. Also have a habit of shoving their nose right in your crotch when you're doing your best to sit down and relax. Its terrible. A terrible experience.
Don't get me wrong fellas, I like dogs. I just don't want someone else's dog all in my space when I'm trying to make myself comfortable. Its a crappy way to treat a house-guest. And it just makes me want to go home.

And you guys are a special kind of ass-hole because you seem to believe that the entire planet loves your dog as much as you do. So we all should tolerate all the horrible stuff it does."Aaaaaawwwww look! She jumped right up on Donald's lap! She just wuvs Donnie doesn't she! Yes she does!!"Meanwhile, my balls now look like two pennies left on a railroad track.

guy at my work keeps bringing his dog into work, letting the dog run all over the office and walk into people's offices. I'm low-key waiting for his dog to take a **** in my office so I can go off on that stupid prick. In the meantime the dog keeps traipsing into my office, sneaking under my desk and licking my balls ded srs. licks the crotch of my jeans. then I hear the guy telling others "oh my god he was soooo affectionate last night! He climbed into bed with me and kept licking my face!"
yeah you like my scrote germs all over your dog's slobber and your face? Get what you deserve, twat.

I'm seeing the same people with dogs who are struggling to save enough for their first house.
Decided that any new friends i make are no longer my friend if they have dogs, end of story.
Cats are kind ok but holy fuark the fur is a pain in the arse.. Sitting down on the couch and now i need to replace my clothes

Shed hair allover your house
Disgusting.

Damn, OP sounds mad.
Lol at thinking there's any guest that I'd invite over to my house that I care about more than my dogs. Lol at thinking I'm locking my dogs up for you if you're a guest. Don't like it, don't come over next time. Nothing of value will be lost for either you or me, I assure you. My 6 year old swarms guests too, and I guarantee you he's 10x more annoying to a guest than my dogs. Should I put him away too? **** outta here.
I'll put my dogs in a room if you're a professional there to do a Job I'm paying you to do, otherwise, get bent.
Though to be fair, dogs shouldn't be jumping on/licking guests, but most people don't train their dogs. My dogs don't jump on anyone, including myself, because I've trained them not to do so.

agreed, for everyone ITT defending dogs, maybe you're a great owner with a well trained dog, but most people aren't and most of their dogs are just as chitty as the owner. Everyone thinks their dog is so cute and special, even as its pissing all over the floor in excitement.

I'd agree if this was out in public.
But you don't get to tell people what to do in their own house lmao. You just sound generally unpleasant to be around.

dog worship culture is out of hand
I saw a lady bring her dog into a restaurant bathroom with her and she was not alone so she could have easily left it at the table with her family/friends or better yet at home

That simple.
It comes across extremely condensing and abrupt when you run into some phgt who has a strong aversion against dogs
And the dogs pick up on that, and wanna troll them even more because their being rude fks who won't simply acknowledge the dogs
