The success of Helldiver's 2 will make Sony make more GAAS titles instead of singlep
Helldiver's 2 has more players than all other Sony games combined on PC.
This is what the players want.
Fun, coop multiplayer games with live service elements and progression.
Not one and done story driven single player games.
I have yet to purchase Helldiver's 2 and I might never purchase it, but it's good to see the downfall of these types of games with my own eyes.

It will likely mean more ps/pc concurrent launches for Sony first party.
There will still be single player games

It's funny watching the Sony fanbase cheer for the kind of stuff they swear Microsoft is the devil for.
Xbox game is on PC?"Lol Xbox has no games, this is why it the most useless platform ever. You would have to be a retard to defend this."
PS game is on PC?"Well you see, this is actually a good thing and different because that means there is a concurrent presence for Sony first party that helps bolster sales providing further dominance for Sony. Their games are also still console exclusive, a really big deal that will no doubt help sell consoles despite the game also being on PC. You would have to be a retard to ignore the benefits presented by embracing this business model."

Really fun when I was able to get in a couple games tho, they just gotta get it sorted a bit
The vibe of the game is fun. I like the satire. I'm so tired of games trying to be serious af, it's a video game, I play for fun

This game has alot of comedy and satire, complete opposite of what Sony usually puts out... There isn't really much of a story beyond the introduction stuff

The only problem with retro gaming though is you either need a CRT tv or some old ass monitor that does 720p because they don't work on newer displays. I ran into those issues on Series X.
But yeah i'm seriously considering just doing it and going back. I'm really worried about the future of gaming since nothing interesting is on the horizon.

PC games don't work either the only launcher that works is Xbox. Their games work fine. Every other launcher/company has a lot of issues.

Zero games, but even if they had games, they would be either too broke to buy or too retarded to pirate.

As if this is exclusive to games-as-a-service nowadays.
They've conditioned enough retards to think that spending at least 1/12th the price of an entire game for 1/1000th the amount of content that took half a day to churn out is not only perfectly acceptable, but gamers should be down on their kneesthankingthe holy developers for bestowing upon them a pair of cat ears and being generous enough toonlycharge what they did for what used to just be included in games for free.
Anyways, if there's some good to come out of Helldiver's 2 success, it was not some AAAA game thatneededsales numbers rivaling the population of a small country to break even on the marketing, nor did they expect it be remotely this popular, hence the ongoing server issues.
At the very least, it's a laugh that Sony listened to Bungle and decided to can Factions 2 because it couldn't be exploited enough, throwing away years of work and possibly millions of dollars. Meanwhile, this under the radar Starship Troopers-esque shooter that doesn't look like gen z, lite-brite gonorrhea was more successful by virtue of not being an endless money pit like Call of Duty or Destiny and just being a fun, bug and/or friend killing game.
The developers havereiterated that the game will never be pvpand said to play something else instead, so it has that in its favor over most live service games, including whatever GAAS garbage Sony has on the docket to throw at the wall.
It's an all around good lesson that these things cannot be predicted or forced by throwing money down the drain and will just pop off organically. Contrast Helldivers 2 to Foamstardsless than stellar reception; I honestly couldn't tell that that game was out yet (apparently it is), and I doubt that the cringe anarchy heist game is going to do well.
Tekken 8 Adding Microtransactions With New Shop Feature
The fact people are still defending this kind of obvious attempt to dodge negative press during reviews is a testament to how royally cucked games are thanks to consumerist zombies.
"Aw, the poor corporation! We have to buy their $5 costumes so they continue to support the game!"

Now the minimalist approach to the costume customization content makes sense though, what we have had available is simply all the free content, the rest is going to be charged. This definitely feels like the sort of bait n switch we got with GT7, when they released the pay content after all the critic reviews. Very sneaky.Ah, shït, you haven't heard the latest:

Game is a lot of fun but have only been able to play about 3 hours total. GAAS in general are chit though. By the time this game gets its servers figured out the big influx of players will have moved on.
