The first I thought "I made it to the train." is the right one.

I checked it by Google search in case and I found:

I made it on the train.

Then I found another:

I made the train.

Which one is better?

or

Is there a much better one?

Personally I'd say "am on train" though.

IDK, either could work. More people would probably say "I made the train", but when saying that probably mean more that they made it ON instead of TO. If we're talking about making it to the stop in time to catch it then "I made it to..." makes more sense.

You can say any of those. I think "I made the train" is the most common and is just a shorter version of:
"I made it to the train on time."
"I made it to the train in time."
"I made itonthe train on time."
"I made itonthe train in time."

They all mean basically the same thing.

I caught the train is what we would say in the UK. Out of the three you list I made the train would be the best of those-but would still not really fit. I was running late this morning, just made it to the station & barely caught the train would be a statement we would use.

I think "I made the train" is a conversion of the phrase "I made it".

Just replacing the object (it) with "the train".
