Rate my new pupper/10 Dog haters stay out...

My little guy Marty will be 2 yrs in May. He's been great with my 2 older dogs. They all bonded so well but health wise, (both going on 11 yrs) they're just not physically able to play with him anymore like they used to. Marty needs a companion of his own so I made the decision to bring in a 4th dog. It's gonna be a little crazy here for a while but I can handle it.

Say hello to my boy Jes.

Wishing you all a great weekend!

They call his color blue and I think it's so pretty. He will be here in about 2-3 weeks...I'm excited and thank you.

I love puppies, they're just so annoying at times. Especially in the beginning when they're not house trained and want to chew everything up. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

This little guy will be close to 7 months when I get him so I'm not worried about being house trained. I've been through it and you get them on a solid routine and you're good to go. None of my dogs have ever chewed or destroyed anything in my house. It goes back to the training and I've always been really strict when it comes to that.

We only really had to house train our first dog. After that we always overlapped dogs and the young one just learned from the old one. We had been dogless for about 2 years when we got our current dog, so we borrowed our daughter's dog (who actually started out in our house) for a week. Pupper had 2 accidents the very first afternoon we got her and has been batting 1.000 ever since.

We picked our puppy up christmas eve and it's been easier than I expected. She is glued to my daughter's side and follows her everywhere. So the moment she wanders off, we know she needs a pee.

When I got Marty it had been years since I did any house training but it comes back fast and my older boy took Marty under his belt and showed him the ropes.

It's funny he was the last in his litter and no one wanted him. It's very similar to when I got my girl as a companion for my older boy...no one wanted her either.

I guess I'm repeating the cycle and I'll give him a great home.

Had the same experience when i got my first cat, last kitten in the litter, mother rejected her so she was frail and reserved.. she was the best companiion for 18 years, cherish this little guy!

She's the one who tells us. Because she is 2 1/2 and we have been doing potty training with her, she does the same thing with the dog. Just as she tells us whensheneeds the toilet, she tells us when thedogneeds the toilet.

We put her outside through the cloakroom door, so the moment she heads in that direction, I will hear my daughter shout "dadda, (puppy's name) needs the toilet."

Beautiful little guy. Your 2 year old will love having a play buddy, and your older dogs might get a burst of energy having a pup around too.

Thank you. I got my 2 yr old as a pup hoping to give the older dogs some new life. It did give them a burst of energy and they all did great. The 2 older have really slowed down now...again they're pushing 11 ys and english bully life span is around 8-10 yrs...so I'm feeling very lucky so far.
