Would you rather

Okay so both the war in ukraine and Palestine look pretty bad right now, lot of refugees. Would you rather the US take in Ukrainian or Palestinian refugees and why?

Neither. The 57 countries of OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) who have passionately supported Palestinians have more than enough money, resources, and space to accommodate every single Palestinian man, woman, and child if they so desire. And EU, the champion of Ukraine is more than welcome to take in Ukrainians. It will be a change from African/Muslim migrants.

Gonna have to disagree with you there mate. The richest country in the OIC, Qatar has a GDP of 180 billion. US is like 23.5 trillion. You guys have more money and the means to actually welcome and take care of the Palestinian refugees so it should be you, not some lesser off country

You honestly don't think that the top 10 richest countries in the OIC can distribute and accommodate 5 million Palestinians between themselves? Considering the cultural/religious/linguistic closeness, wouldn't it make more sense for Palestinians to live in an OIC country? I can understand Christian Palestinians not finding such an arrangement appealing and would welcome them to the US to avoid religious persecution.

I mean I guess they COULD but do we really want them to? That’s a whole lot of human capital and diversity that the US would be passing up on, quite unwisely in my opinion. Man this country has so much money and so much space you won’t even notice another 5 million. like honestly take a stroll around Vermont or Wyoming or something — nothing but beautiful wide open space
