His parents approved her because she is nice + her parents are as wealthy as his own family but they demanded she got an education (not her parents, his). So she got a Business Mgmt entry, which is prestigious in of itself for corporate careers there even though her goal is to be a stay at home mother. That is because if they get married parents on both sides will pool finances to help the guy start his own derm practice where the money will come from.

Also she plays the violin and her parents want her to try her best in some prestigious competitions, possibly only to flex in front of other families. SRS.
