The absolutely only reason I would live apart from them again is if I got serious with a woman to the point where marriage and living together were on the horizon. Then I would want my own place with her so we could have privacy and a home to raise our eventual children.

Short and simple
Many parents have medical issues so costly care is not in the budget and many parents need supervision, depending on if dads are still healthy and can do it.
Each parents situation varies.

There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

That is not a fair representation.. I have a ton of friends all earning 100k+ and balanced in personality and life who live at home and see no issue with it.
Again it depends a lot on culture.
I appreciate well thought out subtle trolling.

It's like none of you strive to be independent, none of you strive to be better. Then, you make excuses for living at home.
You people will soon be making excuses for men who are 40 years old and still living at home.....

At some point we need to become adults . Especially if you are considering bringing the next generation into this world .

Just don't be that , a societal reject
Live at home stack your $ ...just don't become some hopeless neet like my buddy did ...
It's too late for him , it's unlikely he'll ever turn it around and amount to anything

You still live with your mother, your mother employs you, you can't get laid without paying. You are not a good example for why parents should let their kids rot in their house past 18.
You have to pay for sex because of how coddled you were. You are useless and would be homeless if it weren't for your mother's pitty.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.
