These past few years proved that hard times do not create strong men. Especially with so many of our youth still masking up, and complying with the restrictions and mandates, and supporting big government.

Similar boat. Paid off property, name on title, will eventually go to my kids, etc. Helped my dad refinance with my credit as a cosigner years ago to give him a low interest rate. Financially, the whole arrangement made a lot of sense. As far as privacy goes, we have a lot of it in this property. There are rooms I haven’t opened the door to in months.

Sure guy, you seem to get upset when I point out how physically weak Mexicans are, claim it's racist, but it's more of a fact.

Makes logical sense. If I found a woman who made as much as me we could easily afford a house and like 5 kids. But a woman like that would only date Chadley Chaddington III: Collector Of Extra Pocket Money.

Short and simple
Many parents have medical issues so costly care is not in the budget and many parents need supervision, depending on if dads are still healthy and can do it.

Each parents situation varies.
There is an unspoken thing, we are iron brothers and sisters, we are to support each other and...It is our duty to support our brothers and sisters in the iron game!

This threads shows why Americans are depressed, lonely and mentally ill. One of the most atomized nations in the world now.

He is a mentally ill narcissist who had to flee an abusive mother, and he is trying to spin this as being something positive because its actually a personal tragedy. Rather than being a normal human being about it though, he is embarrassed by it so it tries to spin it into something else. This is why he attacks you, because its an attack on his ego. I cannot imagine how gutless a father needs to be to let his 15 year old leave the house.

Its pathological with him

hardly the truth..my parents have provided me a platform that empowers me and allowed me to grow. Growing up and living at home are not mutually exclusive lol.

we're literally on a misc forum which is obviously going to have a higher proportion of basement dwellers than not. So it makes sense why a majority of the people posting here who live at home are stunted in their position in life.

That is not a fair representation.. I have a ton of friends all earning 100k+ and balanced in personality and life who live at home and see no issue with it.

Again it depends a lot on culture.
I appreciate well thought out subtle trolling.

Once again, you're making excuses why people refuse to grow up and leave the nest. Once again, these same individuals bitch about how women are whores, because they're interested in someone who still lives at home.

It's like none of you strive to be independent, none of you strive to be better. Then, you make excuses for living at home.

You people will soon be making excuses for men who are 40 years old and still living at home.....

once again proving you dont live in reality to what most have to live by. my parents never had 100k to throw at me while taking care of my bills. youre privilaged so therefore dont look down upon others as you've had your life given to you. youre not an entruepenuer you're not some inivator. you work the same 9-5 that most do you just got given cash which most dont get. you choose to walk around and judge others when you didnt do **** but what everyone else does. 9-5 is not impressive

I'm not looking down on anybody . Regardles how my situation went down I am still able to hold an opinion over whether 30 + year olds should be striving for independence and not living with mommy and daddy

At some point we need to become adults . Especially if you are considering bringing the next generation into this world .

your opinion comes from a place of delusion. many cultures prefer to have their own living with them. the west isnt the only culture around

Yeah man I know a guy In real life who hasn't lifted a finger in years , dad's basement, doesn't even have a car ...and he is 30.

Just don't be that , a societal reject

Live at home stack your $ ...just don't become some hopeless neet like my buddy did ...

It's too late for him , it's unlikely he'll ever turn it around and amount to anything

I'm so embarrassed that I tell the story every few days.

You still live with your mother, your mother employs you, you can't get laid without paying. You are not a good example for why parents should let their kids rot in their house past 18.

You have to pay for sex because of how coddled you were. You are useless and would be homeless if it weren't for your mother's pitty.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

18 ? Early

But 30 + is when it starts to look real pathetic, a failure to launch scenario

My wife left her mother's house at 17. Today my wife is very successful. My wife was not coddled growing up. Inversely, my wife has a brother who is 17 right now. He grew up in much better conditions than my wife and was coddled his whole life. He is just about useless. My wife was straight A student, deans list every semester in college, full time job as well, living on her own, etc. Her brother has a 2.1 gpa, is always crying about how he's depressed, and just had his first pregnancy scare, doesn't have a job, won't get into college. Clearly an easier upbringing is not the answer.

18 is late if anything. 16 is about the right age to go figure shyt out.

I know pharmacists and lawyers that live at home, and people that still rent a 2-bed with a roommate working dead end jobs.

If you know how to raise your kid then you wouldn't need the real world to teach him for you

As long as the pharmacist and lawyers are the ones paying the bills. But using our example, kormo, what bills do you think he pays?
