Are cinnamon rolls underrated?

Seems like cookies, cakes, ice creams, and pies are always at the top of favorite baked goods and dessert lists. F*ck even brownies gets a nod once in awhile. Never hear people talking much about cinnamon rolls though. A very under the radar baked good imo.

Cinnamon rolls are strange for me. They can either be absolutely phenomenal or straight trash.

Dasitmane!

& 100%, OP. Cinnamon rolls are an absolutely top-tier dessert that never get their due. A good cinnamon roll can potentially mog any other sweet food out there.

Does anyone make them with flavors inside the bread or icing?

Cinnamon buns are delicious! I made the Pioneer Woman ones years ago. They were sooo good! It makes a ton. I did it for Easter and gave out a bunch of the tins.
