I always preferred something like a Lotus for ultimate lightweight handling, balance, and feel. Balance is where the 911 traditionally lost me, never been a fan of the rear engine layout. Latest ones are practically mid engine though, but then I like the old engines a lot more, back when they were air cooled.

If I really want to get honest I'd bring up how I prefer Ferrari over Porsche, but that just feels like flexxing.

But I do think Lotus cars tend to handle better, if you really want to get down to what the best light weight handling drivers cars are.

Ferraris are better for Mogging, but are known garage queens that even need way more maintenance than the equivalent Porsche.

You could easily daily drive a Turbo S while flogging it on a track on weekends.

Yeah they have been selling some of their cars in the US for a while now, but they are definitely a rare sight. That's another reason I would take one over a Porsche, around where I have lived, in nice parts of CA, it feels like every other well off boomer is driving some Porsche, they are pretty common cars. Lotus are still a rare sight, hardly ever see someone driving one, and they can really get my attention a lot more because of it. Like I could walk past a really nice 911 and think nothing of it, but see an Elise and stop to check it out.

Yeah they look sick. Every boomer here drives a porsche here as well.
