I don't know of a jurisdiction where a landlord can simply walk inside one of his rental properties without prior notice or just cause (extremis). But it sounds like you've reported matters for him to fix - I thought you have a roommate, and maybe your roommate has invited the LandLordto come over.

We are smack in the middle of rentcels darkest days. Rent is due on their payday. They typically run to a gas station for some scratchers on payday but this week that paycheck belongs to their landlords. Feels good for us landlords, but try not and gloat in front of the rentcels. Srs, vry srs.

It depends. I rent out one of my places to a construction firm that has 4 guys in it at any one time.

I keep the rent reasonable - they do free upgrades on my place as a thanks. Turkish folks too - very nice.
